Members Charity Nomination
2026 nomination deadlines are January 1, March 17, July 14, and September 29.With more than 16,000 nonprofits in Maricopa County, your nomination plays a powerful role in helping our giving circle discover organizations doing meaningful work across the Valley. Many incredible nonprofits have never been nominated — and your voice can help bring them forward.
Members must be current in their donations during their membership to be eligible to nominate a charity. If quarterly donations are missing, a member will be given the opportunity to make up those donations, so their nomination may be considered.
Click here to see a list of charities that have already been nominated and approved. If a charity is approved for one of our sister groups, you may still nominate them for a different sister group in our chapter.
How to Nominate
If you are a current member in good standing you are able to nominate a charity. Completed nomination forms must be submitted at least three weeks prior to a quarterly giving circle. This gives us time to ensure the charity meets our eligibility requirements. Approved charities will go “in the hat” at the upcoming giving circle. We randomly draw three charities from the hat each quarter. The nominating members associated with those three charities will present their nominated nonprofit to their group at the following quarter’s giving circle. We draw charity names one quarter in advance to give members time to prepare their presentations.
Step 1
Choose a charity that is meaningful to you. If you don’t already have a charity in mind, browse through our directory of charities already approved and ready to be selected by a giving circle member. You may also want to check out our Charity Nomination Tips and Tutorials here.
Step 2
Review our nomination criteria to be sure your charity meets our minimum requirements. It’s also a good idea to review the nomination form and reach out to the organization directly if you have any questions you can’t answer on your own. Please feel free to use this email template when you contact the organization for assistance in answering these questions.
Step 3
Once you’ve done your research, submit your nomination using the button below. We will review the information and if the charity meets our criteria, we will reach out to let you know when they have been officially approved. Once approved, your charity is now “in the hat” and eligible to be drawn at random at an upcoming giving circle!
